Last night I went to the Java Metroplex Users' Group meeting to hear Martin Fowler speak about enterprise applications and design patterns. I was particulartly looking forward to it. Fowler has written several books and is the Chief Scientist of ThoughtWorks. It was an enjoyable presentation, but I had to pinch myself a couple of times to bring myself back around to what he was saying.
