Nate called this afternoon to see if I would be interested in going to the Rangers game this evening. Of course I said yes, but that set into motion a hectic set of events. Julian was over helping me copy some files and I needed to finish that. I got a call from a recruiter who wanted to set up a phone interview after 5:00, but that was when Nate was supposed to pick me up, so we moved it up a little bit. The hiring manager called and we got to chat for a bit. He asked me about my Java knowledge and then started asking me some very difficult questions. I had to calm down and take a few breathes since I was thinking much faster than I could talk. I apparently did satisfactorily because the recruiter called back later and asked to set up an interview.
Now tomorrow I get to dress up, try to dazzle a couple of people, and then I'll go meet cousin Elizabeth for lunch. She also has an interview tomorrow; two actually. So wish both of us luck.
