Let's see. What fun things have I been up to in the last few days.
Last Friday I had my first sushi bar experience. Several of us from work went to a sushi buffer called Osaka. It was a little pricey, but it was good. I tried just about everything. I tried eel, octopus, squid, salmon, mussels, tuna, redtail, and several other things that I can't remember now. I think my favorite thing was the eel. It just dissolved in your mouth.
After the exciting crazy, busy weekend last weekend, I was eager for a little break. I was pretty much a bum most of the weekend. I saw a lot of movies and hung out with Dezi a good chunk of the time. I saw Gangs of New York (not bad, but one I wouldn't add to my collection), Star Trek: Nemesis (enjoyable), and A Guy Thing (cute, but predictable). We went to the Dollar Theatre and saw Chicago. I was a good show, but I was getting tired of my seat by the time the movie was over. I also watched an awful lot of TV. I just couldn't sleep Friday or Saturday night. I would turn on the TV and watch the Pet Detectives until 3:00 in the morning. They follow ASPCA officers as they investigate reports of animal cruelty. Not a very nice show, but it's like a train wreck. I can't turn away.
It's amazing how many times I've been interrupted this morning. You'd think they would leave me alone and let me procrastinate a little longer. I suppose I should go get busy.
