I truly find it amazing at the variety and quantity of things I misplace in my apartment. I will admit that it is a small apartment and that I have way too much stuff in it, but I should still be able to find most of the things I'm looking for.
My latest search and rescue operation has to do with a large 5 foot tall white structure that I use to hang my hanging clothes when they come out of the dryer. You would typically expect this task to be very simple. I have to laugh at the fact that I searched for twenty minutes. Opening the same closet doors and looking in the cracks and cubby holes. It is a known scientific principle that if you repeat the same experiment given the same parameters you should expect the same results. This principle held true in my circumstances as well. I decided to sit at my computer and write a update while waiting for divine inspiration to hit me. I find it more than a little ironic that the large white structure of my quest was laying on its side behind the couch next to the computer desk. Thus the muse has inspired me once more and I have laundry to finish.
Only 30 minutes into my search.
