Day dreaming
I can already tell this is going to be one of those weeks where I would prefer to do almost anything other than sit in front of a keyboard all day. Unfortunately that's what I'm probably going to end up having to do. Work is good, but still going hard and fast. When I woke up last Friday and discovered it was already after 8:00 and I hoped to leave early that day from work I called in a "Mental Health Day." I ran errands, did laundry, slept, and packed for the weekend. Not much of a vacation, but it's sometimes important to give yourself a treat like that when you most need it.
Part of the reason I needed the break was that I knew I would get no rest over the weekend. I accompanied 7 youth to Bridgeport for a weekend retreat. We had a good time, but I was worn out. In fact I think I fell asleep Saturday night before the lights were even out.
