Brief respite
I probably only have a few minutes of down time to report in before I have to get back to work. It has been an absolutely insane week at the office. Massive changes without testing equals bad idea. Catching a bug before it goes live and thinking it's not a big thing... Even worse. Earlier today we have 7000 bugs to fix. With all of us contributing, we're down to 2600.
But I have to tell about what Dezi did for Valentines. She made a history of us. Probably the electronic equivalent of a scrapbook. She had upwards of 40 preventing slides with things we did. Places we had gone. Benchmarks in our relationship. It was a lot of stuff. She'd been to a lot of the restaurants we went to and took pictures. Then assembled it all and had it playing on the screen in the living room. I could tell the time that she had put into it and it was a wonderful gift.
I give her a hard time about crying at movies and such, but I'll admit... It made me cry.
Yeah! That's right... Think I'm a wimp? Bring it on little man!
On that note I'm going to go back to punching the keyboard.
A wimp? Maybe, but such a sweet one, with such a sweet wife! (It's not like you haven't given her enough time alone to work hard on a surprise for you!)
