New Service

Well some of you may have noticed that I was having some problems last week with my site.

I changed hosting companies to a new one where I can consolidate several pages at once. I had a number of fits with the transfer, but everything seems to be humming along contentedly now.

I'm ready to play with all the new toys I have, but I may have to wait until I manage to find a little more time. Of course, I'm not sure when that will be. But it's a nice thought.

A little less wisdom

Yesterday morning at 6:15 AM Desiree and I showed up at the dentist's office where I was to have all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. I had stayed with Dezi and here parents the night before so that we could make it to the office without having to wake up any earlier than necessary. It's been a long time coming since we first discussed it last February, but it was a neccessary step and I'm glad I did it.

I have a tendancy to be very difficult to get with a needle so after they missed the first one I told him where he should look. Second time he managed to get the IV and I woke up what seemed to me like 10 minutes later. I was vaguely aware that I was snoring as I was waking up. I asked the nurse about it and she said yes, but that's how they knew I was completely under. She seemed to think my asking was cute b/c she chuckled at me. Well I managed to stumble out to the car. I don't remember a lot about the trip home, but we seemed to make it just fine. Dezi went to pick up the drugs and I slept.

My mom had rearranged her schedule to come up for the day. I'm glad she did. We didn't talk a whole lot for obvious reasons, but it was nice just to have her there. Once I got to feeling a little bit more awake I wouldn't always let either Dezi or my mom help, but that's just how I am I guess.

Now I'm off to go meet Desiree for lunch. I'm just wondering what I can eat in the way of soft foods at a restraunt.

Trudging On

I'm in a really odd mood this morning. Work pressure is mounting, but I had to delete something that I spent about a week working on since it wasn't what was needed. That's time I really could have used other places. We've got some really big projects that we'll be working on through March. I'll be out mid January to have my wisdom teeth removed and we were told this week that we might be moving again this summer. It's enough to make me want to throw up my hands and go get some cookies and milk and hope everything has been resolved by the time I get back. Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks to working for a small company is that if you don't do it no one else will. So forgive me if I just keep my head down and place one foot in front of the other.
