Gadget that I like
I don't usually push product, but if you want to be one of the cool kids you'll be like me. :)
A couple of months ago I bought some ear buds to leave in my laptop bag so that I could watch movies, listen to music, or view the latest Jib Jab clip without bothering others around me quite a much. I'd pretty much sworn off ear buds b/c they wouldn't stay in my ear and they usually sounded bad. Well with all that in mind I decided I would try
these out when I saw them at the store. I figured for 20 bucks they would probably serve their purpose well, but I wouldn't be too broken up if I couldn't stand them.
I have to tell you I've been pleasantly surprised. They stay in my ear really well and their sound quality is excellent. They still can't hit all the highs, but I've enjoyed having them. If you're looking for something like that you now have my recommendation.

Day dreaming
I can already tell this is going to be one of those weeks where I would prefer to do almost anything other than sit in front of a keyboard all day. Unfortunately that's what I'm probably going to end up having to do. Work is good, but still going hard and fast. When I woke up last Friday and discovered it was already after 8:00 and I hoped to leave early that day from work I called in a "Mental Health Day." I ran errands, did laundry, slept, and packed for the weekend. Not much of a vacation, but it's sometimes important to give yourself a treat like that when you most need it.
Part of the reason I needed the break was that I knew I would get no rest over the weekend. I accompanied 7 youth to
Bridgeport for a weekend retreat. We had a good time, but I was worn out. In fact I think I fell asleep Saturday night before the lights were even out.
