Eine Kleine Nachtmusik -- "A Little Night Music"

One of the most integral parts of the wedding ceremony and reception is music. I believe that music can add so much to an occasion. I have attended so many weddings where we hear the same music every time. While I enjoy listening to the music, I know that for our ceremony, we want something that will be different. Music that will stand out and that people will remember as being a part of our wedding. The pieces that we have selected (yes, we have already picked out what music we want) for our ceremony reflect the joy and sacredness of a wedding ceremony, yet they are not necessarily pieces that one would associate with a wedding.

That being said, we also were brainstorming fun songs that would be good for my father and I to walk down the aisle to. NOTE: No, we are not actually having any of these played, but we thought they were fun!

Indiana Jones theme--John Williams
Star Wars theme--John Williams
Duel of the Fates--John Williams
Olympic Fanfare--John Williams
We're Off to See the Wizard--The Wizard of Oz
The Aggie War Hymn
Imperial March--John Williams
William Tell Overture (a.k.a. the "Lone Ranger" theme)--Rossini

Those are just a few of the songs we came up with. We also thought it would be funny to have the theme from "Jeopardy" play right when each of us are supposed to say "I do." Can you think of any other funny songs to walk down the aisle to? Let us know!
