Field Promotion

I called a friend earlier this week and asked if he would be in our wedding. He told me he had to check his calendar and get back with me.

He called this morning to let me know that he was sorry, but had work conflicts and wasn't going to be able to be the Groom at the wedding.

After thinking a moment I had to inform him that the role of Groom had already been filled and that he sure wasn't going to replace me.

He called back a little while later. He'd had an epiphany. They were called Groomsmen. I told him, "That's great, but I'd asked you to be an usher."

We love you Scott. You made both of us laugh very hard without even intending to.
