Our First Gift!

I received a package from FedEx shortly before dinner this evening. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to open it yet, but we determined that it was a shower gift, since my first shower is Saturday. I opened up the package, wondering who it was from and what it was. The box said "Dillards" on it, but didn't give the giver's address.

After opening the box and package, I discovered what our first gift was. David and I are now the proud owners of a set of flatware! Hooray! I never thought I would be so excited to see a box of flatware. Mom said it is exciting because it is symbolic, being our first gift. Yay!!!!! I can't wait to try it out! Although it's so pretty, I'm afraid to get it dirty! But I know I'll get over that.
