Three Months To Go...

Wow! It is so hard to believe that it is getting so close!! We've been working hard on different wedding stuff. My first shower was on April 9th. It went wonderfully! I was totally overwhelmed by everything that had been done in preparation, as well as the amount of gifts. We have so many pictures, I will put them on the web site, as soon as I can go through and weed out the duplicates. I really felt special. Thanx to my family for all that you did!

My bridal portrait is scheduled for this coming Thursday. We will be taking the pictures at St. Andrew, there are so many places in the church that are absolutely gorgeous, so finding a spot to take pictures will not be difficult. It seems like just yesterday that we reserved the church, now I'm having my portrait! We got the final dress details, such as the accessories this week, and I am really excited about it. I know the photographers will do a wonderful job, and I am excited about seeing the finished product.

Bridesmaid Becky is coming to town today for her dress fitting, I am excited about seeing her. She is not only a bridesmaid, but she is also going to sing The Lord's Prayer during the ceremony. Becky has a wonderful voice, and I know she will do a great job! The last time she was in town, I took her over to St. Andrew, showed her the sanctuary, parlor, bride's room, etc. While we were standing at the front of the sanctuary, I asked her to sing something. Hearing her voice in the acoustics of that room was amazing! I had tears in my eyes and goosebumps on my arms listening to her. Just think how it'll sound when the organ is added!
