Misadventures of a Bride & Groom

On Sunday at church, our pastor read a funny story about a disastrous wedding. However, it had a really good ending. Something else that tickled me about Sunday, was when Billy was talking about how he had married various people in our church, children of people in our church, and how he was about to marry some people in the church. When he said that, he looked right at me. I wanted to say "yay!!!!", but decided that would not be the best thing to do at church.

Last night, David and I had our first pre-marital counseling session with our pastor. I really enjoyed the session, and am very glad that Billy gets to do the ceremony. I think it is more meaningful, because he knows us and has a relationship with us, which makes the whole thing more special

As our RSVP date (July 1st) draws near, people's replies are flooding in! Please get your reply cards in as soon as possible, or you will be receiving a phone call. Please do not assume that we "know" that you are coming, with the number of people we have invited, it is imperative that we have an accurate headcount to give to the caterer, to give them adequate time to adjust the amount of food.
