And I do what with this?

I've spent most of the morning cleaning my apartment. I'm trying to consolidate as much as possible since Dezi has started moving a few of her things over a little bit at a time. The first place I thought I would start is in the "Gift Corner" where we've put all the wedding presents/shower gifts that we've received. Well the corner has consumed the whole breakfast nook and is threatening the kitchen with it's eye on the living room next. I'm managed to return it to only consuming one corner, but through several people's generosity it's a very large corner.

Back to cleaning. I've found myself questioning a couple of things this morning. The use of tissue in packing and cooking instruments.

Now about this tissue thing. I found a couple of giant bags that contained nothing but tissue when I finally crawled my way to the bottom of the bag. This giant thing had been consuming massive amounts of space, but only contained wadded up paper and air. Doesn't sound quite right does it? And why use tissue? One thing that came to mind is that they could use it to dab their eyes if they started crying at whatever special occasion it was for. But of course that tissue wouldn't do and they would have to break out a special box of a different type or tissue leaving us with the original problem. Tissue... Lots of tissue.

After successfully filling a lawn bag sized trash sack full of tissue I started moving into the realm of pots and pans. Now I'm someone who's comfortable in the kitchen. I will admit that my cooking vocabulary is rather limited, but I have been known to experiment with my own creations. (Whole different and equally amusing story.) When I unwrapped some of the pots and pans I found myself scratching my head and wondering was that was for. No I'm not talking about the pot and the lid. I can figure that part out. I'm talking about some strainer that fits inside another strainer. And this scoop looking thing that has a handle and some insert that goes along with it. Maybe I'll let Dezi tell me what they are for.
