Fun at DFW Airport

David was out of town on a business trip for most of this week. I drove him down to the airport on Tuesday, then picked him up yesterday. I used to be nervous about driving to the airport, but after taking my parents a few times, it doesn't bother me at all.

I gave myself plenty of time to get to the airport, found the appropriate terminal and parked. What was annoying, was that the airlines that David flew in on was so small, that his city and flight wasn't even listed on the airport website. There was only one terminal for that airline, so I figured that I was in the right spot. I pulled out my book and waited. (I also counted at least twenty people talking on a cell phone in the terminal.)

David called me to let me know his plane had landed and he was on his way to the baggage claim. I was excited to see him walk through the door! After picking up his bag, we made our way home. He showed me a picture of the plane he rode. It seated 18 people, including the pilots. There was no flight attendent, beverage cart or peanuts. It sounded like an interesting trip. While I did enjoy some time alone, I was very glad to have David home again!
